Meet MasterChef’s Genevieve Lee, who will be hosting an upcoming workshop at Thermomix® Singapore. Known for her interesting interpretation of conventional dishes with the addition of exotic ingredients and spices; as well as her exquisite plating skills in the MasterChef Singapore 2018 competition, coupled with her strong culinary background (her family owns Lee Fun Nam Kee chicken rice), the talented young girl is also a culinary student at the Culinary Institute of America,  Gen will be sharing with everyone the following private recipes that will take us from starter, to soup, main and dessert. She will also show us her signature plating skills for these dishes during the workshop.

🍴 Nasi Ulam with Salmon Shrimp Otak

🍴 The use of sunflower seeds to make sunflower seeds butter for vegan coleslaw, sunflower mayonnaise, soba salad and dips

🍴 Cooking the entire pumpkin for Thai style pumpkin soup with chimichurri, crispy pumpkin straws and seeds

🍴 2-flavour ice-cream with sponge cake and compote


𝓐𝓫𝓸𝓾𝓽  𝓖𝓮𝓷

The talented 21-year-old is a down-to-earth, cheerful girl, wise beyond her years and first spun into fame when she participated in Masterchef Singapore 2018.  Growing up in a family in the F&B business started her cooking at a very young age of 10. Yes, she has been cooking “half her life” as she jokingly said in her introductory video (see link below). She often says cooking truly gives her pure happiness. Her style of cooking is more Western European and she is a baking enthusiast. Since becoming a Thermomix® user, she has create her unique creative touches with it to complement her cooking.
