Thermomix® Garlic Cheese Biscuit (Scones)


  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 120g Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 350g All Purpose Plain Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 220g Butter (Cold, cubed, plus melted butter for brushing)
  • 230g Milk


  1. Preheat the oven to 220 deg
  2. Meanwhile line your baking tray with baking paper
  3. Turbo the cheese and garlic 2-3 times for 2 seconds
  4. Add flour, salt, baking powder and butter into the mixing bowl and mix 5sec/sp8 or until the mixture resembles bread crumbs
  5. Add milk and combine 20sec/sp5, then knead 20 sec
  6. Transfer the dough onto a baking mat or lightly flour work surface
  7. Press out to a 2cm thickness and use a floured scone cutter to cut out circles
  8. Place the cut scone dough onto the lined baking sheet on the baking tray
  9. Brush the tops of the scone doughs with melted butter
  10. Bake for 10-15 minutes until lightly golden
  11. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack
  12. Serve warm
