We Cooked a Record!

On November 27th, 2021, our Thermomix® community worldwide came together to set a Guinness World Record! With the help of our advisors, customers and employees, we set the record of “The most videos of people cooking uploaded to Facebook in one hour”.

“Let’s cook a record!” – With this campaign and the active support of its international community, Thermomix® has made it into the Guinness Book of Records. Numerous Thermomix® users joined forces and uploaded a total of 3000+ cooking videos to Facebook within one hour. Videos of at least 10 seconds in length had to show the name of the official Thermomix® recipe by screen or cookbook, depict the required ingredients, show a person who is preparing the recipe following the process, show a running Thermomix®, the dish coming out of the mixing bowl as well as present the recipe’s final result are considered valid. Only videos uploaded to a private Thermomix® Facebook group from 4:10 to 5:10 p.m. CET time on November 27 were counted.

The world record attempt was accompanied by a hybrid live show, including insights into kitchens around the world. Our community started posting our recipe videos at 11pm Singapore time, with recipes ranging from Gu Lou Yok(Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs) to Tapioca Coconut Cakes, showcasing the diverse culture and recipes from our part of the world.
