Did you know that you can actually 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐡(𝐬) in your Thermomix® mixing bowl? Here’s a simple recipe for a fish stew you can prepare with your Thermomix®!
𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
500g Fish (approx.) or 2 smaller fishes
25g Cooking oil
3 slices Ginger
15g Soya Sauce
10g Black Soya Sauce
100g Rice Wine
10g Sugar
Salt, to taste
Scallions, for garnish
𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝
1. Clean and dry the fish. Rub the fish, and inside of the stomach, with salt and 30g rice wine.
2. Add oil and ginger into the mixing bowl, stir fry 2 mins/Varoma/Stirring Speed. (If you are cooking 2 pieces of fish, insert the butterfly and place the fish around the sides of the mixing bowl with stomach facing up. Ensure that the fish is on top of the blades.
3. Pour soya sauce, black soya sauce, 40g of rice wine and sugar over the fish.
4. Cook the fish at 6 1/2 mins/Varoma/Reverse/Stirring Speed. At 5 mins in, add the last 30g of rice wine into the mixing bowl.5) Garnish with scallions and serve.
