From time to time, your Thermomix® deserves a good clean from all the good food it churned out for you and your loved ones. Here are some cleaning tips to provide better care of your Thermomix®.
Give it a deep clean! (Recommended after heavy usage or at least on a monthly basis under normal daily usage)
Add 750g of water, 25g of vinegar and 2 tbsp of bicarbonate soda into the mixing bowl, heat 15 mins / Varoma / speed 3.
Restore your mixing bowl’s shine:
Tip #1: Add 4-5 empty and washed egg shells and 2 lemons (halved) into the mixing bowl. Blend 8 sec / speed 8. Add 500-1000g of water and simmer 30 mins / 50°C / speed 3. Rinse and wipe the bowl.
Tip #2: Mix 3 tbsp of baking soda with 1½ – 2 tbsp water to a paste. Spread on bowl base and leave it for 5 – 10 mins. Pour 2 tbsp of vinegar to let it bubble. Then, scrub with sponge.
