HOW TO JOIN

  6. Contest runs from 16 January to 18 February 2024. Winners will be announced by 29 February 2024 on our Facebook and Instagram page.

  1. The competition is open to Singapore residents only.
  2. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  3. Closing date for entry will be 18 February 2024. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  4. Thermomix® Singapore (hereby after shall be referred to as ‘The Organizer’ reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.
  5. The Organizer is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  6. Winner will receive a Paysan Breton hamper each worth over SGD120.
  7. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  8. Winners will be chosen by The Organizer and The Organizer’s decision as to the selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to disagreements of the winning entries will be entertained.
  9. The winners will be announced on our Facebook and Instagram pages within 14 days of the end of the competition. If the winner(s) cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner(s) and pick a replacement winner(s).
  10. The Organizer will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/is delivered.
  11. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry without notice.
  12. The Organizer shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
  13. The Organizer also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.

Thermomix® Pineapple Tart Jam Cooking Tips

  • Use only Thermomix® official Pineapple Tart recipes. Check out Mavis Ong and Rita Zahara‘s Pineapple Tart Recipes. (Watch their tutorial videos in this article below).
  • Do not modify the recipe(s)
  • Cook at 100-120 degree Celsius
  • Scape the jam mixture every 15 minutes to ensure the jam is evenly cooked
  • Add sugar last
  • Use Varoma temperature at last 5 minutes to dry up the paste
  • Always monitor and check the cooking every 15 minutes
  • To prevent splatters, let the steam out with the simmering basket on top of the lid hole

Thermomix® Pineapple Tart Recipes

Pineapple Tarts

Ingredients
Pineapple jam
  • 1500 g fresh pineapple (approx. 2 pineapples), peeled, eyes and core removed, cut in cubes (2 cm)
  • 100 g sugar, adjust to taste
  • 1 cinnamon stick
Tart pastry
  • 350 g plain flour
  • 20 g milk powder
  • 20 g caster sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 250 g unsalted butter, cold, cut in cubes (1 cm)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

Preparation

Pineapple jam

  1. Place pineapple in mixing bowl, chop 5 sec/speed 5. Drain blended pineapple using Varoma dish to discard excessive liquid.
  2. Place blended pineapples pulp, sugar and cinnamon stick in mixing bowl, cook 40 min/120°C/speed 1 or until it thickens. Transfer to a bowl and allow to cool completely. Clean mixing bowl.
  3. Scoop 1 teaspoon of pineapple jam (approx. 8 g) and roll into a small ball. Repeat this step until all jam is used.

Tart pastry

  1. Place plain flour, milk powder, caster sugar and salt in mixing bowl, pulverise Turbo/2 sec/1 time.
  2. Add butter, mix 5 sec/speed 5.
  3. Add egg yolks, mix Dough /20 sec. Transfer dough to a bowl, cover with cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Shape the dough into a long log and cut into small pieces (approx. 10 g). Flatten a dough piece, place a reserved jam ball in the centre of each and wrap into a ball. Cut dough surface with clipper to create a pineapple look and place on a baking tray. Repeat the steps with remaining dough balls and jam. Preheat oven to 170°C.
  4. Using a pastry brush, brush pastry surface with lightly beaten egg. Bake for 20 minutes (170°C) until lightly brown. Allow to cool completely on a cooling rack before serving or storing in an airtight container.
